Boxing camp Delfine Person postponed for the time being due to the death of sheik

Delfine Persoon is ready for a boxing camp in Dubai as support act for the American legendary boxing star Floyd Mayweather. She was going to compete against a French woman. But this morning it was announced that the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyane, has passed away. As a result, there is a period of mourning in the United Arab Emirates and many events have been cancelled.

The boxing camp will certainly not take place tomorrow. The organization is looking to postpone the camp to Monday evening.

Boxing on helicopter platform

Delfine Persoon is looking forward to that camp that appeals to the imagination. The location is the helicopter landing pad of the Burj Al Arab hotel. She told us that in a video (see below) but at the time she didn’t know that the camp can’t take place tomorrow.

If Persoon would win that camp, she would come very close to a big title fight and she can use that money well for the construction of the new boxing hall in Gits. It should be ready by the summer.
