Bows and arrows have been used in Europe thousands of years earlier than previously thought

Evidence has been found in a cave in southern France that the first use of bows and arrows in Europe by Homo Sapiens took place as far back as 54,000 years ago. That is thousands of years earlier than previously believed. The research, published last Wednesday in the scientific journal Science Advances, advances the use of bows and arrows in Europe by more than 40,000 years.
