A man freaked out in front of the Kudamm bar “Belluci” this morning because the bouncer refused him entry. He attacked the 29-year-old with a cutter knife.

The bouncer was injured in the face and upper body. Then the knife man ran away, fled in the direction of Adenauerplatz, where his trail was then lost. According to the police, the cuts that the perpetrator inflicted on him were not “insignificant.”

The bouncer had to be taken to a hospital immediately. A police spokesman said it was not immediately clear whether there was a risk of death. “The injuries are serious.”

A 38-year-old witness who tried to restrain the attacker was also injured – slightly – on the hand. The police questioned witnesses at the scene later that night. The police blocked the sidewalk in front of the bar and secured tracks. The cutter knife was found near the scene of the crime, and the knife man apparently threw it away when he fled.
