Bouke again next year in Ziggo Dome, but then the whole evening is his

It can’t be over for singer Bouke Scholten for the time being. After the 41-year-old ‘Elvis from Emmen’ last weekend the television program The Tribute – Battle of the Bands won, he announced tonight that he would be alone in the Ziggo Dome next year.

He told that in the SBS6 program Inside today. Fans still have to be patient, because the concert of Bouke and the Elvis Matters Band is scheduled for Friday, April 19, 2024.

“The Drenthe Bouke Scholten blew during The Tribute – Battle of the Bands the professional jury and almost a million viewers per episode with his flawless voice, which equals the sound of Elvis Presley,” says concert organizer MOJO. “Like no other, Bouke brings classics such as Ghetto, Suspicious Minds and Can’t Help Falling In Love back to life. With his own It’s Now Or Never-show, he pays a grand tribute to The King Of Rock ‘N Roll in Ziggo Dome.”

In April of this year he will also be in the Amsterdam concert hall three times, but then always play ‘only’ an hour. That concert series is part of the talent show. The four best artists of the program take turns performing on those evenings. Bouke then gets one hour of playing time.

He will not have to share the stage of the Ziggo Dome with other artists next year. Then the whole evening is for the singer from Emmen.

Bouke made a big impression in The Tribute – Battle of the Bands. In the final, the jury consisting of Cesar Zuiderwijk, Angela Groothuizen and Spike awarded him three times a 10. The audience gave him a 9.7 as a final mark.

RTV Drenthe visited Bouke Scholten last week. He talked about his sudden success:
