Boudewijn Seapark reopens ice rink after all
A reopening of the ice rink at Boudewijn Seapark was doubtful at first, because of the sky-high energy costs. The park invested €7,000 in more energy-efficient lighting. The park is also investigating how they can further optimize the freezing system. In combination with a price increase for a skating session, the amusement park suspects that a reopening is feasible.
The piste has also been given a new look: there will be a large winter landscape decor of 114 meters long and 10 meters high. Two gigantic chandeliers should provide extra atmosphere.
