Boubacar Kamara, who played for Aston Villa, one of the English Premier League teams, closed the season due to his injury.
Speaking before their league match against Fulham, Aston Villa Coach Unai Emery announced that the French midfielder will not be able to play for the rest of the season.
Emery stated that Kamara, who had a knee injury, could return to the field in September or October.
The 24-year-old player played in 30 matches in all competitions for Aston Villa this season and scored one goal.
Aston Villa, which aims to qualify for the UEFA Champions League by finishing the Premier League in the top 4, is in 5th place with 46 points.
