Bottom light Potsdam loses again

The six-time German soccer champion Turbine Potsdam is still stuck at the bottom of the table in the women’s Bundesliga.

At SV Meppen, ex-club of Turbine coach Sebastian Middeke, the traditional club lost 0:2 (0:0) and conceded the fourth defeat in a row. Just one point from five games means the two-time European Cup winners have had their worst start to the season since the single-track Bundesliga was introduced in 1997.

Promoted Meppen, on the other hand, celebrated their second win in a row, Lisa Josten (51st/76th) made the decision with her first goals of the season.
