On Saturday night, several people were injured in a fight near Mauerpark in Prenzlauer Berg.
Not far from police section 15 on Eberswalder Strasse, a man beat two other young men. One of the two defended himself and pulled a glass bottle over the head of the attacker.
The perpetrator, who became a victim in this way, suffered a severe head injury that was bleeding profusely and had to be treated in a hospital. In the course of the operation, an officer was also injured during an arrest.
The police are now investigating the bodily harm and dangerous bodily harm. It is unclear whether the injured officer remained on duty.
