Bottega Veneta brings past collections back on sale

Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta has opened a new section on its website where products from past collections are put up for sale again.

“Bottega Series” was launched on Tuesday, as Leo Rongone, CEO of the Kering subsidiary, reported on Wednesday at the Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen.

The bag models Cabat (3900 euros) and Banana (3800 euros) are currently available in three colors each. The archive pieces, the oldest of which are around three years old, are updated monthly on the website and are available for the original price the product was at the launch of the original collection, according to the Bottega Veneta boss.

The pieces do not come from customers as second-hand products, as is the case with similar concepts, but from the brand’s inventory.

“We are so enthusiastic about these products that we want to offer them to our customers with the drop principle,” says Rongone.
