In the fourth and penultimate episode of docu-reality by Max Giustiairing tonight on Rai 2 at 21.20 (and available at Rai Play) to immerse himself among his employees (without them knowing that he is the boss) is Daniel Massellaboss of the Casilino biscuit factory, a company from San Cesareo (Rome), a point of reference for biscuits, tarts, cakes and pizzas in the area. Once again, the boss is there to support Max Giusti that tonight pretends to be “the worker” Antonio of Naples.

Undercover bosses at the biscuit factory: what happens in tonight’s episode

Daniel Masella, rigorous and active head of the Biscottificio Casilino, he agreed to participate in the docu-reality show, undergoing hours of make-up to take on a different appearance (or which in any case allowed him not to be recognized by his employees).

And for a week he left his desk and cell phone to go back to “get your hands dirty” with flour and cream (he started out as a small pastry chef), working in production side by side with his employees.

Tonight we see him next to Giacomo prepares the pizzas. And then with Tiziano creates rustichelle. Alessia guides him in the filling It is in the packaging of ox eyes. And with Daniele makes different types of tarts.

Next to the boss there is (as always in this edition of Undercover bosses) Max Giusti which tonight ends up being Anthony of Naples and with Badara prepare the dough and the filling of the tarts.

How come employees aren’t amazed by newcomers and cameras?

Undercover bosses is a program that really allows you to bring two distant worlds together: that of the head of the company with the other of the workers-workers. It succeeds because the boss and the employees who find themselves working side by side not only share the work, but they indulge in personal aspects of private life. It happens, in fact, that the employee speaks of his perhaps low salaryhard working hours, the dream of being transferred to be closer to the family.

This intimacy can be achieved because the boss disguises himself so good as to avoid being recognized. And in order not to make the employees suspicious, who might be surprised by the arrival of a stranger or by the chaos of the cameras, an “excuse” is said.

This time, the workers of Biscottificio Casilino were told that it was being filmed Job missiona new factual which tells the world of Italian entrepreneurship and work in a difficult moment full of challenges, not only for businesses, but for the whole country.

And then, at the end of the shooting week, to the employees it comes tell the truth, revealing the identities of the boss and Max Giusti. Employees are summoned to the boss’s office, talk about what they have experienced and maybe a prize or the desired increase arrives.

From the small pastry shop to the Casilino biscuit factory

The Biscottificio Casilino is one of the Italian excellences. Bake sweets, biscuits, puff pastry pizzas, all delicious delicacies that we usually find in bars or buffets. Making 4.5 tons of products a year, it is one of the brands of Made in Italy which has also established itself abroad. In fact, it exports to Spain, France, Germany, England and also to Australia.

TO founding the company was the boss Daniele Masella, after years of experience in a small bakery in which he personally made desserts with top quality ingredients. Over time, the decision to expand and better structure the business. Thus, also enlisting the rest of the family, Masella gave birth to the Casilino Biscottificio which is characterized by wholesale products as good as handcrafted ones.
