Following European leaders’ promise to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to speed up their arms deliveries, European Foreign Representative Josep Borrell is calling on EU countries to “urgently” deliver the ammunition the Ukrainians are asking for. In a document from Borrell that AFP was able to view, he calls for an additional one billion euros to be spent this month from the European Peace Facility to purchase 155 mm grenades for the Ukrainian army.
