Borràs will travel to Brussels this Monday to join the attempt to channel the agreement with the PSOE

The president of Together, Laura Borraswill travel to Brussels early this Monday to join the attempt of the former president of the Generalitat Carles Puigdemont (Junts) and PSOE to channel the agreement that would allow the re-election of Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government.

This has been explained by sources consulted by Europa Press, with which Borràs will coincide in the Belgian capital with the general secretary of Junts, Jordi Turull, and the president of the party in Parliament, Albert Batet, who have moved this Sunday.

Borràs, who attended the funeral of doctor and activist Carles Furriols this Sunday, had planned to board at the last minute to Brussels, but will finally do so on the first flight on Monday.

Disagreement redirected

This weekend Junts and PSOE have redirected the “disagreement” that occurred on Friday between both parties, moving closer to an agreement.

On Friday, the negotiations cooled down because both parties maintained disagreements over the scope of the amnesty and its wording, starting with the statement of reasons.

One of those affected by ‘Volhov’ is the head of former president Puigdemont’s office and his right-hand man, Josep Lluís Alayand Junts also wants the amnesty to include other names, such as that of his lawyer, Gonzalo Boye the former minister of the Generalitat Miquel Buch and Borràs herself.
