Boris Rhein is entering his second term as Prime Minister of Hesse. The state parliament re-elects the CDU politician as head of government.
Boris Rhein has been re-elected Prime Minister of Hesse. The Hessian state parliament in Wiesbaden voted for the CDU politician with 76 votes. The new black-red government coalition has 75 of the 133 seats in the state parliament. Rhine had previously led a black-green state government. He took over the office in 2022 from Volker Bouffier, who had relinquished the office.
