The British Conservative Party has lost two seats in by-elections in the constituencies of Tiverton-Honiton and Wakefield. In Tiverton-Honiton, the seat went to the Liberal Democrats, in Wakefield to Labor. The Conservatives chairman has resigned after the disappointing results.
