A good four weeks ago, Boris Becker was officially convicted and has been in prison ever since. It is now clear: the former tennis star will not appeal the verdict.

Tennis star Boris Becker, who was convicted at the end of April, will not appeal the sentence imposed on him. The Leimener had this communicated through his lawyer. It says in the letter that the “image” is available.

“Our client has elected not to appeal the Southwark Crown Court’s conviction in his case. Our client accepts both the jury’s verdict and the sentence imposed by the court.”

Becker was sentenced by the jury to two and a half years in prison, but if he behaves well he can be released halfway and serve the rest of the sentence on probation.
