Borger-Odoorn wants to invest 28 million euros in school buildings

For the primary schools in the municipality of Borger-Odoorn, 28 million euros will be needed in the coming years for new construction and renovation. The Executive Board wants to invest this amount in the housing of the schools over the next 15 years.

The municipality has laid this down in the integrated housing plan, which the city council will consider next month.

According to Borger-Odoorn, most school buildings in the municipality were built in the 1970s and are therefore dated. The plan includes several scenarios that are being investigated. The housing plan was drawn up after consultation with the three school boards in Borger-Odoorn.
