The requirements to access the Women’s Bonus

The women’s bonus is due to employers who have hired women falling into the “disadvantaged” categories which means, specifically,

  • women over 50 years of age and unemployed for more than 12 months
  • women who reside in one of the areas identified by the Aid Charter, without a paid job for at least 6 months, regardless of age
  • women of any age who carry out professions in economic sectors where gender employment inequality is high
  • women without age or residence limits who have been without a regularly paid job for at least 24 months.
  • As requested

To request the bonus, the employer must submit the exemption request on the INPS website by accessing the Provvidential Drawer in the specific area of belonging and completing the INPS form 92-2012. There are no age limits for the application of the women’s bonus.

Gender gap, the worst working sectors

There situation is not particularly “pink” almost everywhere. However, there are some sectors that stand out negatively: among these we find, at the top of the ranking, construction (82%) followed by the extractive industry (68.5%) and the sector engaged in water and waste management (64. 7).

The situation is improving in the area of services, in particular the Public Administration: 29.6%. Those who fare the worst are the women in uniform: 96.5% disparity.

The problem of our country, however, is that in general, in the classification of women’s employment, he is frighteningly behind his classmates: we are in 63rd place out of 146 countries. An imbalance that greatly damages women and their economic capacity.
