Several motorists escaped unhurt in an accident on the A4 last night. A total of five cars were involved in the accident, three of which were hit by a flying hood.
A police spokesperson says that a car skidded in a puddle of water that had remained on the road surface due to heavy rainfall. The car hit another car. The impact caused the hood of that car to come loose, fly across the asphalt and hit three more cars.
On windshield
At least one of the three following cars was seriously damaged when the detached hood landed on the windshield. Nothing is known about the damage to the other two cars. The police spokesperson said that no injuries were reported in the accident.

Multiple media report that one of the cars, a Tesla, was driven by (GTST) actor Bas Muijs. The police do not want to confirm this.
