Bonita brings financial expert from Galeria

The clothing supplier Bonita GmbH is strengthening its management team. Oliver Mölls has been appointed director in charge of finance, controlling, IT and logistics, the Hamminkeln-based company announced on Tuesday.

Mölls gained experience in the financial sector at Galeria. Before moving to Bonita, he worked for more than 20 years as Head of Controlling & Finance at the department store group in Essen.

“With his great expertise in the operational and financial management of a chain store, he was our ideal candidate,” says Karsten Oberheide, Managing Director and co-shareholder of Bonita. “We are convinced that, as an employee-oriented and likeable manager, he is the ideal addition to our team. With his excellent specialist knowledge, he will quickly set positive accents at Bonita.”

Bonita filed for bankruptcy in the summer of 2020. and was taken over a little later by a group of investors led by Managing Director Oberheide as part of a management buyout from the parent company Tom Tailor Holding. In March 2021, the retail chain successfully completed the restructuring process and has been growing ever since. A special focus is placed on the expansion of the shops.

“I’m looking forward to the new challenges at Bonita,” says Möll. “Together with the management and the team, we will work consistently to achieve the strategic goals and continue to successfully expand BONITA’s course.”
