Changes in the coaching staff
Something is happening in the coaching team at Holstein Kiel. As the “Storks” announced on Tuesday, assistant trainer Fabian Boll, athletic trainer Dr. André Filipovic and match analyst Philipp Pelka left the club in the summer because it was not possible to agree on a continuation of the cooperation. Dirk Bremser, assistant to head coach Marcel Rapp, on the other hand, extended his contract by a year until June 2024.

“We signaled early on to Fabian Boll, André Filipovic and Philipp Pelka that we would like to continue on the KSV path together with them until 2024. However, after intensive discussions and for various reasons, we were not able to agree on a contract extension for the three named. We experienced a very successful and intensive time together with them,” said Sport Managing Director Uwe Stöver.

Assistant coach Bremser meanwhile said: “I would like to thank those responsible for the trust and the solution-oriented cooperation in the last few months. The daily work on the pitch, together with the team and the entire team, is a lot of fun. The familiar and focused atmosphere in the club allows for quiet and concentrated work. Therefore, I am very much looking forward to helping shape the sporting development in the long term and to being able to continue to tackle the challenges that await us with full conviction and joy.”
