A body was found this morning in the water along the Kloppersingel in Haarlem. Emergency services cordoned off the area.
The deceased person was reported a little before 7.13 am. Police, ambulance and firefighters attended the scene. An air ambulance was also called. A dive team recovered the body from the water.
The identity of the deceased is unknown. The police are investigating the case.
