The body found this morning in the search for Thomas (20), also known as Tiger, appears to belong to the Briton. Tiger went missing earlier this week after possibly going into a drug-related psychosis, and he has been searched for ever since.
Thomas went missing last weekend near the Dijklander Hospital in Hoorn. He had been dropped off there by friends and his partner after, according to them, he was in a bad trip had been caused by drug use.
After he was reported missing, the police came out several times with information about the missing person. Today the Veterans Search Team was called in to join the search. They found a body this morning around 10 am in a ditch on the Maelsonstraat in Hoorn, right next to the hospital. It is now clear that it is Thomas’s body.
The police also say that an investigation is still being carried out into exactly how Thomas died. They do not assume that a crime has been committed.
