Jérôme Boateng does not yet know that his club Olympique Lyon wants to part with him this winter. The “kicker” quoted the 2014 world champion according to a report by the French portal “Foot Mercato” stating: “No one from the club has spoken to me or my agent about it.”
The 34-year-old had recently had an operation on the meniscus and now explained: “My focus was 100 percent on getting fit again quickly.” He has a good feeling overall, will be playing again soon and thinks that he ready for the New Year’s Day game against Clermont Foot.
