BNNVARA pulls the plug on the TV series Thirties. The fourth and final season will be shown on NPO 3 from next month, the broadcaster reports to this site.
In the hit series, recognizable dilemmas about children, love and friendships are reviewed. The cast again consists of the regular team Justus van Dillen, Jelle de Jong, Leonoor Koster, Eva Laurenssen, Joy Wielkens, Lykele Muus and Wieger Windhorst.
The recordings of the last season started in February in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. About the storyline – can the almost forties handle all the changes and will all relationships come out undamaged? – the actors do not say anything yet, except that ‘a new family member’ has been added to the group of friends. It’s about a dachshund. “There is fluffy family expansion,” Van Dillen (Alex) already wrote on Instagram.
The first three seasons of Thirties were shown daily on NPO 3 and have been streamed millions of times on NPO Start and NPO Plus. The fourth season will be broadcast weekly on NPO 3 from July 3 at 10 p.m. Every week, four episodes will be available on NPO Plus to look ahead. The series is an adaptation of the successful Flemish series of the same name. The fourth season is directed by Elzelien Peters and Allard Westenbrink. Thirties is a co-production of Hollands Licht and BNNVara.
