Los Angeles-based producer, rapper and songwriter Blxst’s career is just picking up steam again. On January 24, he was voted “Best Young Artist” and just three days later shakes his new video for the single “About You” out of his musician’s sleeves.

Blxst leaves nothing to chance in his new video for the single. In order to outline the facets and history of a love relationship, he underlines the video scenes in black and white. He also transports a feeling with his singing that is supposed to take you emotionally to the ups and downs of the couple. The Netflix relationship drama “Malcom & Marie” is said to have given the impulse for the video.
Some may know the rapper from his hit single “Chosen (feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Tyga).” The Blxst already gained attention in the scene with his remix for Kendrick Lamar released in 2015. Its list of features is also impressive. This includes big names such as Snoop Dogg, Nas, YG, Mozzy and Rick Ross.
