On Thursday afternoon, June 29, on the second day of the Fusion Festival, a suspected dealer was caught with an excess of drugs. It is particularly worrying that he carried a large number of the life-threatening ecstasy variant “Blue Punisher” with him on the festival grounds.
According to reports, on the second day of the festival, a visitor spotted a man who wanted to sell his drugs to other visitors. Police spokeswoman Claudia Tupeit explains according to “PICTURE”: “He then gave a tip to the crew, who in turn informed Fusion Security. After security found large amounts of narcotics and cash on the suspect, the police were called in.”

The 29-year-old from Berlin was arrested. More than 60 “Blue Punisher” pills, 180 LSD trips and other bags of narcotics are said to have been found on him. He had this with him on the festival site. He is said to have had more than 10,000 euros with him. So far it is unclear how the dealer was able to smuggle his goods through the controls.
An arrest warrant has now been issued for the suspect, police said, on suspicion that he was dealing in narcotics at the festival. “The district court in Waren followed the arrest warrant application from the Neubrandenburg public prosecutor’s office,” the police said, according to BILD.
Recently, two underage girls died after allegedly taking Blue Punisher. The high-dose and therefore deadly ecstasy variant has been increasingly discovered in Berlin and the surrounding area for about a week.

The Fusion Festival will take place this year from June 28th to July 2nd in the Mecklenburg Lake District. It welcomes around 70,000 visitors. It is located on the former Russian military airfield in Mecklenburg.
