Bloomberg: Apple will introduce a budget iPhone and a new iPad Air with 5G support in March

Apple plans to introduce new budget iPhone and iPad Air, writes Bloomberg with reference to sources.

According to them, the presentation will take place in early March, most likely in an online format. At the same time, the interlocutors of the agency do not exclude that plans may change due to problems with production or for other reasons.

The new smartphone will be an updated version of the iPhone SE. This budget model was first released in 2016, and in 2020 the second generation iPhone SE was released. The third smartphone in the line will have 5G support, an improved camera and a faster processor, notes Bloomberg. The design will not change from the previous version.

Apple will also update the Pad Air. The tablet was first released in 2013 and has since been updated three times (most recently in 2021). The new model, like the iPhone SE, will support 5G and get a new processor.
