On Wednesday evening around 6 p.m. there was a bloody clash between youth groups at the Breite Straße near a tram stop and the Pankow town hall center there.
According to initial findings, at least one young person is said to have been attacked with a bottle that had been knocked off.
The seriously injured man was first treated on site by paramedics and an ambulance and then transported to a nearby hospital.
A department of police department 1 has started the investigation on site.
