In a boring match, Jong AZ drew 0-0 against FC Den Bosch. 18-year-old goalkeeper Tristan Kuisten made his debut at Jong AZ.
This is because AZ 1 goalkeeper Mathew Ryan has suffered an injury. As a result, Young AZ goalkeeper Rome Jayden Owusu-Oduro will temporarily move to the first team and Kuisten therefore started under the bar with the AZ talents.
No chances
There were almost no chances in the first half and both teams gave each other little space. There were no big chances in the first 45 minutes of the match.
After the break, the start of the second half was quite nice with some opportunities for Jong AZ. The biggest chance was for Ricuenio Kewal, but he shot just over from a promising position. After the nice start, the level dropped again. Debutant Kuisten avoided defeat in the final phase with a beautiful save.
