The Flower Days in Limmen are in full swing, and as usual, prizes will be awarded for the most beautiful mosaic during the weekend. This year Prik team ‘Mag van Annie/Moet van Loek’ will take off with the main prize, the Silver Tulip challenge trophy.
The winning mosaic of hyacinth buds is called ‘Object’, representing AI, artificial intelligence, on social media. This team also won last year.
“The jury had a hard time this year,” said Liesbeth Hendrix of the Bloemendagen Limmen foundation. “The difference between first and second prize is only half a point. The quality of the mosaics this year was very high.”
The Flower days in Limmen can be visited until Wednesday 3 May. The approximately 25 mosaics can be viewed via a route along the public road.
