The blink-182 drummer’s streak of bad luck continues.
Travis Barker injured his hand while performing with his band blink-182. The group is currently on their reunion tour in the UK. After their Manchester show, the drummer showed his bloody hand in his Instagram story, which is no longer visible. He presented bloody cuts, scabbed knuckles and his blood-stained pants. However, there should be no restriction on his performance for the next gigs.
Travis Barker has had to endure a lot of health issues lately. The blink-182 drummer recently revealed that he was dealing with a bout of trigeminal neuralgia (a condition that causes severe nerve pain), as well as a COVID infection and a root canal. In an X post, Barker wrote, “That means I can handle pretty much anything God throws at me.”
Even before his most recent injuries, Travis Barker was already busy with his hands: During rehearsals for the blink-182 tour, the drummer injured his fingers several times until he ultimately had to undergo surgery in March 2023.
Not only Barker himself, but also his family seemed to be unlucky lately. His wife Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnancy led to complications, which is why the musician was unable to play some concerts on his tour. She had to undergo an emergency operation and the couple’s son was born healthy.
