The accident happened just after half past six Thursday evening. The 37-year-old woman from Wevelgem came from the center of Bissegem to the exit on the Meensesteenweg on her moped. A truck that wanted to enter the R8 noticed the moped rider too late. Fortunately, the woman survived the accident. Due to the collision, the Meensesteenweg was closed for more than an hour during the evening rush hour to traffic wanting to leave Kortrijk.
