‘Blazy that the media are not allowed to ask Rolf Sanchez about a break-up’

Rolf Sanchez asks the media for peace now that Yvonne Coldeweijer has leaked that his relationship has come to an end. And Guido den Aantrekker thinks that’s lame: “A bit of a shame.”

31-year-old Rolf Sanchez and his girlfriend Sophie Mason have separated after four years. The news leaked yesterday via Yvonne Coldeweijer’s juice channel. She reported: “According to a spy, the relationship is over. Things have not been going well between Rolf Sanchez and Sophia Mason for a while, but the relationship has apparently been over and over for a month now.

Rolf and Sophie split up

Rolf was there like the chickens to prevent any rumor stream: “Dear everyone. We still find it difficult to give words to it, but would like to let you know through this road that we are indeed no longer together. We parted very lovingly and hope you respect our privacy.”

They both do not want to speak to the media about this breakup. “We will not comment further on this and hope that you will give us the time to give this a place.”

‘No reaction? Faint!’

Guido den Aantrekker, boss of the Story, thinks this is silly. “I always think it’s a bit of a shame myself. If you do tell very extensively when your relationship starts and that you are so happy, great fun, then it’s also quite fun for once – well, fun isn’t the word – but if things go a bit less, there also open to talk about.”

He continues at the desk of Show news: “But then it is usually an Instagram post and no one else is allowed to ask anything.”

Thunderclap

Colleague Bart Ettekoven: “This comes as a kind of bolt from the blue, doesn’t it?”

Guido: “Huge.”

Bart: “Why then does he write: ‘We are indeed apart.’ With that he suggests that there were already rumors.”

Airen Mylene: “Yes, through the juice channels there were already some rumors.”

uh, juice channels? Yvonne Coldeweijer. That is the same as shouting ‘via the TV programs’ when something comes from Shownieuws.

Bought house

Guido also does not give Yvonne at any time credits, but rehashes what exactly is on her juice channel, for example about the house that Rolf and Sophia bought. “The annoying thing is that last year they bought a house together in Nederhorst den Berg for 1.4 million euros.”

He continues: “What is going to happen with that? So unfortunately we can’t ask them that either. Will one of them stay there or will they sell it? You name it.”

Moving in with André?

It remains to be seen how they will solve this, says Guido. “In any case, I know that Rolf is a very good friend of André Hazes and he just got a new house in Wilnis. There are still a few empty rooms there, so maybe he can live there for the time being.”

A joke from Yvonne about the fact that Sophie was Mia & Dion’s movement coach during her break-up is also thinly imitated by Guido. “We all saw that it didn’t look very dynamic.”
