Blauw-Wit takes over talented youth international Linda van der Wal from DVO

Blauw-Wit has completed next season’s selection with Linda van der Wal. The 19-year-old korfball player comes from DVO, where she has played for more than thirteen years.

Van der Wal’s choice for Blauw-Wit is both sporty and social. She has been living in rooms in Amsterdam since January and studies the Bennekomse at the VU Business Analytics. Van der Wal played at DVO in the B1 and A1 with which she took the national field title. She also played several times for various youth teams of the Dutch korfball team.

Van der Wal explains her switch on the Blauw-Wit website. “Blauw-Wit seems to me to be a cozy club with a real fighter’s mentality on the field. I am looking forward to being able to go to training by bike next season. I want to play and win great matches with a nice group and to develop further as korfball player.”

Blauw-Wit is building the team for next season. Frank Mostard already returned after being relegated with TOP. Niels Stuurstraat was then snatched away from main division Nieuwerkerk.
