Wervik was only four points below Blankenberge in the rankings and an exciting match was therefore predicted. But in reality, Blankenberge was clearly the stronger team.
Longueville was the man who gave Blankenberge the lead through a penalty in the 26th minute. Just before half time, the home team missed a great chance to equalize and so we went to rest with a 0-1 lead for the visitors.
In the second half, Longueville scores its second of the match. The home team was unable to score a tying goal and at the end of the match it became 0-3 via Kékessy.
