Blankenberge shooting incident suspect also suspected of rape
The 45-year-old man had shot a 39-year-old woman from Bredene five times on Friday morning, once in her leg. The incident happened in the L. Dujardinstraat in Blankenberge.
The perpetrator then holed up in his apartment. Special forces arrived on the scene to arrest the man. He is no stranger to the police.
