Blankenberge is experiencing the last top weekend of the summer with a flower parade
The organization has provided a little more spice this year. There was some wear and tear on the static procession and the accompanying decorated wagons. That is why the director opted for a different concept with more spectacle. Dancers, clowns and acrobats: the flower parade resembles a traveling circus. The public likes it, although it remains mainly a colorful procession.
Big crowd pleaser
Blankenberge is known for their flower parade and many people look forward to the last weekend of August every year. The tourist office speaks of well 80,000 visitors. The city can speak of a successful edition.
