Blankenberge first gets fiber optic network
Utility company Fiberklaar put the first sod in the ground this morning, what follows will be a network of 90 kilometers of fiber optic. The network should be ready by next summer. (read more below the photo)
The capacity of fiber optic cable is infinite, so you are guaranteed to get super-fast internet, digital television or telephony. “With the open fiber optic network of Fiberklaar, our residents have access to the very latest internet technology and the city of Blankenberge can further improve its digital services,” says alderman for public works Jurgen Content.
Today, major players such as Proximus and edpnet offer all their services via the Fiberklaar network
