“Blanca 2”: the clip of the second season on Rai 1

The second season starts again from its two pillars: the charisma of the blind policewoman (or rather, police consultant) and the centrality of the city of Genoa. Freely based on the novels by Patrizia Rinaldi, Blanca (played by Maria Chiara Giannetta) has gained a significant space on Rai in recent years, where crime and crime films with soft features are based on the combination of female protagonists and an identity bond with a territory (this is the work of the Film Commissions).

At the beginning of the new season, in which we find the main characters again – from fellow inspector Liguori (Giuseppe Zeno) to commissioner Bacigalupo (Enzo Paci) – the Genoese police headquarters is under attack by a mysterious attacker who hits parked police cars until he fatally wounds one of Blanca’s colleagues.

This first investigation to be resolved then unfolds a transversal story linked to the girl’s past and her loss of sight occurred at the age of twelve, in the most classic of generalist detective story mechanisms that mixes vertical betting lines and horizontal lines. The alleys and neighborhoods of the Ligurian capital are the added protagonists, together with a bold direction for the network placement.

For those who love “heroic” and reassuring characters.
