Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Soundtrack Set To Feature Several New Songs By Rihanna

Rihanna’s last album ANTI was released in 2016, and since then the singer from Barbados has been unusually quiet. This musical break could now come to an end. While there is no official confirmation yet, Rihanna is rumored to be contributing several songs to the Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

First reported about it “Hitsdailydouble”, a trade magazine of the US music industry. Rumor Mill reported that Rihanna recorded two songs for the film’s soundtrack. According to insiders, a soundtrack album for the film should also be released.

The speculation was further fueled by Kyle Buchanan, pop culture reporter at The New York Times. “Rumors are flying around and I can add to them: For weeks I’ve been hearing that Rihanna is recording the end credits song for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Buchanan wrote on Twitter. “How do you follow a classic like ‘All The Stars’? By grabbing Rihanna’s first big song in years.”

Wakanda Forever is the sequel to the 2018 hit superhero hit Black Panther. Prominent musicians already contributed to the soundtrack of the first part: the title song “All The Stars” came from Kendrick Lamar and SZA, Lamar also put together the entire soundtrack album for the film, to which Khalid, Travis Scott and The Weeknd contributed.
