Together, they try to forge a new path for the kingdom to survive. In addition to the actors already mentioned, they appear in the cast Tenoch Huerta – as the king of Talokan, Namor -, Mabel Cadena, Michaela Coel, Alex Livinalli and Dominique Throne.

Letitia Wright pays homage to Chadwick Boseman
In Wakanda forever Letitia Wright plays the most important role in the film. A responsibility in the past that was incumbent on Chadwick Boseman, protagonist of Black Panther. A sort of virtual passing of the baton between the two characters. On the red carpet, in addition to the usual photos, she had herself immortalized with her arms crossed over her chest. Winston Duke did the same. A significant, and also necessary, tribute to celebrate the colleague, who passed away in 2020, at the age of 43.
The movie director of the film Ryan Coogler he chose a different way to remember Boseman. Over the white dress, she wore it a necklace with a medal, on which his face is imprinted. Three simple but effective gestures that underline the void left by the actor and the importance he had in the Marvel world and beyond.
In Black Pantherreleased in 2018, Boseman played T’Challa, the ruler of Wakanda, a fictional African state. He acquires superpowers after eating the heart-shaped herb and becoming Black Panther. He is an honest man who does not take advantage of his abilities to benefit. Rather he focuses on the real needs of his kingdom. Therefore, he tries to maintain a good balance between the various tribes present in Wakanda, even though he sometimes has to make choices that are not pleasing to everyone, but necessary.

The absence of the actor felt loud and clear. A void that affected not only colleagues but also the public. On Twitter there is a riot of messages of admiration for those who have decided to remember him on the red carpet. Of all, the choice of Letitia Wrightalso presented with the same dress Boseman wore at the 2018 Oscars.
However, Boseman’s disappearance isn’t the only factor that increases the anticipation. Black Panther: Wakanda forever fully falls into the category of blockbuster. Films, that is, which see the light after an impressive production effort, but which are punctually rewarded by the public.
