Black list, reservation and less promotion: fight against amok makers in Lago Kortrijk intensified
In June, when it was very hot, the LAGO swimming pool in Kortrijk was overrun. Quite a few French youths tried to get in without a reservation, some even tried to climb over the fence. The police had to intervene.
One hundred names are now on a blacklist, Mayor Ruth Vandenberghe said to the city council. In addition, everyone must now make a reservation to enter the swimming pool. You must also always be able to show your identity card and there will also be security personnel. They can search the luggage if necessary.
Less promotion
Fewer people can enter the pool per time slot. And striking: LAGO is going to promote less with its swimming pools in Northern France.
It is not the first time that there have been problems with the LAGO swimming pool in Kortrijk: even last year, young people were on a blacklist.
