Ísadóra Barney, Björk’s daughter, has released her first song “bergmál”. The 20-year-old has previously written songs with her mother. For example, she was involved in Björk’s “Her Mother’s House”.
“bergmál” appeared on a compilation DRULLUMALL 4 by the Reykjavík art collective “Post-Dreifing”. Various artists from different Icelandic scenes are represented on the record.
Barney is a filmmaker and actress. She made her debut in the adventure thriller The Northman alongside her mother. She released her current album FOSSORA in 2022.
