Berlin (AP) – Felix Bitterling will be the new sports director for the biathlon sector at the German Ski Association.
As the DSV announced, the 44-year-old from Berchtesgaden follows Bernd Eisenbichler in this position, who is leaving at his own request to pursue new professional goals outside of competitive sport. Bitterling previously worked as a sports and events director at the highest management level at the world biathlon association IBU. Eisenbichler has been sports director of the German ski hunters since 2019.
