But Schalke fans should have looked disappointed at the training schedule of the royal blues, because from Wednesday the preparation will take place behind closed doors, as the club announced.
Pyrotechnics, singing and loud support from usually more than a thousand fans will not be available directly at the S04 training ground next Friday. The last public training will take place on Tuesday. The remaining units are then no longer intended for the public.

In the first leg, Schalke fans were still admitted to the final training session. Around 500 supporters watched the last session in the rainy Parkstadion before the first duel of the current season against BVB, which ended up being lost 1-0.
After a very weak first half of the season, the Royal Blues have now recovered and lost last place in the table to VfL Bochum at the weekend. BVB has not been able to complain in recent months either. Both teams are undefeated in the second half of the season. While Dortmund collected six wins and thus won all games, it was enough for S04 for two wins and four draws.
