LMediaset’s counter-programming to balance the ratings of Sanremo 2024 continues. After last night’s special appointment and the usual placement in the schedule today at 2.10 pm, Bitter earthto returns to air tonight at 9.35pm on Channel 5 with a new episode full of twists and turns. Will he be able to thwart the Festival?
Bitter earththe previews for today 8 February
In the afternoon episode Bethul (Ilayda Çevik) discovers that Mehmet Kara (Ibrahim Celikkol) is actually Hakan Gumusoglu. He finds out thanks to a photo of his grandmother Azize (Serpil Tamur) and it all happens while Hakan calls a press conference to announce that he will soon get married to Züleyha (Hilal Altinbilek).
Betül wants to have proof of what he has discovered and try to get hold of the photo. Azize, however, resists and eventually falls. She is transported to the hospital and is assisted by Doctor Aykut (Ugur Izgi), who reassures everyone about her health. There is no reason to worry about her because she will get better soon.
The plot of the evening episode
The three evening episodes open with a predictable twist, but which will have consequences on the relationships between the protagonists. Fikret (Furkan Palali) surprises Betül. He shows up at Villa Yaman to help aunt Lütfiye (Hülya Darcan) and takes advantage of it to announce that he and his girlfriend will soon organize a dinner.
This isn’t just any dinner: will communicate the wedding date to friends and relatives. However, when he finds out about the press conference called by Hakan, he has a strange reaction. However, a few days later he organizes a meeting with Betül, Lütfiye, Sermin (Sibel Tascioglu), Hakan and Züleyha.
He finally feels ready to move on. He announces that he wants to marry Betül and that he wants to do it within a short time. Her intentionIndeed, is to take your fiancée to the altar within a month.
Azize reveals the truth about the fall
For Betül and Hakan it seems that a new phase has begun, calmer and less treacherous than the previous one. Just when they think they’ve made it, Abdülkadir Keskin (Erkan Bektas) reappears. He shows up at Betül’s house makes new requests. Meanwhile Granny Azize is still recovering.
The recovery has already begun, but Fadik (Polen Emre) suspects that the fall was not accidental. He doesn’t have time to understand if his suspicions are correct Azize to reveal the truth to her. At night, he goes to Züleyha and tells her what happened. She confesses that Betül is responsible and she doesn’t want them to share the same roof. Despite the confession. Züleyha doesn’t believe her. Indeed, he thinks that the story is simply the fruit of a nightmare.
Then Saniye (Selin Yaninci) takes a tour of the Yaman family’s various land holdings. His attention is caught by a group of workers. They are busy building a fence and asks for information. She is told that they received orders from Ekrem. She gets angry and immediately thinks of a plan to take revenge.
TO Bitter earth Züleyha discovers that Betül has betrayed her
Betül reflects on her relationship with Abdülkadir and is not happy about having plotted with him against the Yaman. Too late, because he confides to her that he has also decided to take possession of the land that Fikret inherited from Fekeli (Kerem Alisik). It matters little that the two are about to get married.
While in Saniye reports to Züleyha that Ekrem has fenced off land that belongs to the Yaman family. The woman rushes to ask for explanations, but she receives a rather ambiguous answer. Ekrem tells her that she did everything correctly: she bought the land from a man.
From this information Züleyha finds out that someone sold several hectares of land without his knowledge. A short time passes and the truth finally comes out. Discovers that it was Betül who sold the land. It’s news that’s hard to believe. She trusted her, giving her a good job and becoming friends with her. Now, however, she has to face reality. What will happen to Betül?
