THEn the occasion of the start of the Christmas holidays, the schedule of Channel 5 it changes. The usual episode of Bitter earth broadcast on Sunday evening ahead of this afternoon. The new episodes air at 3pm and open the fourth and final season of the Turkish soap opera. We start immediately with a series of tragedies that overturn the plot. Between all, the exit of one of the key characters of the story.
Bitter earththe plot of today’s episode December 24th
The new appointment opens with good news. Finally, after days of tension, Gaffur and Saniye (Bülent Polat and Selin Yeninci) can breathe a sigh of relief. Little Üzüm recovers after her coma and can return home. At Villa Yaman, however, the mood is not sky high. There is no news of Demir Yaman (Murat Ünalmis), who seems to have vanished into thin air.
Ümit (Hande Soral) takes advantage of the situation and kidnaps Adnan, the son of Demir and Züleyha (Hilal Altinbek). Helping her in her plan is Cumali (Hakan Akyüz). When Züleyha discovers that the perpetrator of her abduction is her husband’s ex-lover, she decides to meet her. Her goal is to bring Adnan home safely. As always, the unexpected twist comes at the most inopportune moment. And shuffle the cards. The meeting between the two women, in fact, ends in tragedy.
Züleyha kills Ümit
Zuleyha runs by Ali Rahmet Fekeli (Kerem Alisik) and Fikret (Furkan Palali). He confesses to them that he has committed a crazy act: he shot Ümit. Uncle and nephew immediately go to the crime scene, but when they arrive they find neither the body by Dr. Kahraman nor the weapon with which it was committed. So, they think that Ümit managed to escape and save herself.
The truth, however, is another. Ali Rahmet and Fikret were not the first to arrive on site. To precede them, Abdulkadir Keskin (Erkan Betkas) and Hakan Gumusoglu (Ibrahim Celikkol)That they moved the body and the gun with a very specific objective. The intent is to blackmail Züleyha to put their plan into action.
As if there wasn’t enough trouble already, it turns out… the kidnapper of little Adnan is Cumali. The man, in the meantime, left the Yaman estate and disappeared from radar. Nobody knows what happened to him or how to track him down. On the work front, Sermin (Sibel Tascioglu) and Betül (Ilayda Çevik) persist in their climb within the company. And then, they plot behind Züleyha’s back. Well the latter is warned by the wise Ali Rahmet. And thanks to her advice, she takes matters into her own hands and makes her voice heard.
Zuleyha he has a lot to deal with. The kidnapping of her son, the disappearance of her husband, the murder of Ümit and the problems of the holding company. Although she has always been a strong woman, risks collapsing. And there are those who understand how to undermine his securitytaking advantage of its weak points. He ends up in Hakan’s sightsa man with a dark past who will become part of her life.

Bitter earthwhat happened in the previous episodes
Ümit isn’t the only character fans of Bitter earth they have to say goodbye. On the previous episodes, Sevda (Nazan Kel) was unintentionally killed by her daughter Ümit. The doctor wanted to shoot her ex-lover Demir to take revenge for the betrayed promise of a future together. The woman, however, got in the way and was hit by the bullet.

The main suspect in the murder is Demir himself, who is arrested. Then he escapes and, again, is kidnapped by bitter enemies with whom he has some unfinished business. Before this umpteenth turmoil, Yaman entrusted the family business to Betül, who pursues the sole objective of taking it over.
And Züleyha has to navigate between Ümit’s provocations, the kidnapping of her daughter Leyla and the disappearance of her husband. The next episodes promise unexpected twists. An escalation of blood and revenge that will lead to a heart-pounding finale.
