The prime time appointment opens with Züleyha, still in intensive carestill fighting between life and death. Hakan is at his bedside, but Fikret still doesn’t trust him. It is certain that the man is hiding something and that he approached Züleyha in an attempt to take over the Yaman company. He talks about it with Lütfiye (Hülya Darcan), but his aunt doesn’t listen to him. According to her, they are truly in love and neither of them wants to take advantage of the other.
As always happens, between one affair of the heart and another comes tragedy – consummated or grazed – which overturns everything. This time it’s the turn of Mahmut. He rushes into the main street of Çukurova, the fictional town where the soap is set, armed with a rifle and confesses to having shot Züleyha. When questioned by the police, he admits that he is the culprit.
The mystery seems solved, but Hakan he wants to see clearly. He is convinced that Mahmut is lying and that in reality Abdülkadir Keskin had a hand in it (Erkan Bektas) and his brother Vahap, with whom he has been at odds for some time. After so much bad news, finally hope. Züleyha wakes up from a coma and Hakan is next to her. They are aware of the feeling that binds them and swear eternal love.
Bitter earthwho really is Hakan-Mehmet?
Züleyha’s happiness is undermined by a new upheaval: news spreads in Çukurova that leaves everyone stunned. Hakan Gumusoglu is one of Turkey’s biggest arms traffickers. The alarm was raised by a shooting that occurred in one of his warehouses, during which ten men died.
It should be remembered that everyone knows him as Mehmet Kara, but he runs the risk of being exposed and losing Züleyha. He then decides to investigate to find the person responsible and gets help from Abdülkadir and Vahap. They have to be very careful not to arouse any suspicion. Meanwhile Fikret is on holiday in Antalya with Betül and little Kerem Ali. When he knows that Züleyha is finally out of danger, he runs to her to be close to her. Betül doesn’t have the best of reactions, but she knows that her potential future husband loves another woman.
Shortly thereafter the mystery deepens. While Züleyha and Hakan swear eternal love to each other, the photo of the trafficker Hakan Gumusoglu is shown on television, but the man is shown from behind and no one knows who he could be. Züleyha, unaware of everything, fantasizes about her wedding to her better half and announces to the press that they will soon become husband and wife.
Orange blossoms are around the corner, but here’s a new twist. At Villa Yaman Betül comes across an old photo of granny Azize (Serpil Tamur). Two men are depicted: one is the late Demir (Murat Ünalmis) and the other is…Hakan-Mehmet! Finally the truth comes out and now developments on the matter are awaited. What will Betül do? And, above all, how will Züleyha react?
