Everyone in Çukurova is enraptured by Mehmet Kara (Ibrahim Celikkol), who is actually Hakan Gumusoglu, Demir’s arch-enemy and former partner (Murat Ünalmis). He has arrived to settle accounts with the past, but no one suspects anything. The spotlight is also on two other characters. The city is small, people murmur and the union between Züleyha (Hilal Altinbilek) and Fikret (Furkan Palali) is not looked upon favorably.
The gossip becomes so insistent that Lütfiye (Hülya Darcan) asks Fekeli (Kerem Alisik) to look for another house e leave Villa Yaman as soon as possible. In the meantime in Syria Fikret and Cetin (Aras Senol) continue to search for traces of Demir, but they make a bitter discovery. Their friend Sahap explains that the letter Züleyha received could not have been sent from there. They understand, therefore, that it was a setup and that, in reality, the man had been kidnapped.
While Mehmet continues to win everyone’s trust, finally Fekeli opens your eyes. And he discovers that the truth is not what it seems. So threatens Abdulkadir Keskin (Erkan Betkas) to spill the beans. Things, however, go badly Bitter earth comes a new twist. Soon after, Fekeli’s body is found inside his car. In the hospital Lütfiye meets Doctor Aykut (Ugur Izgi), who confirms that he died following a heart attack. It’s terrible news and everyone is in shock.
Heated clash between Züleyha and Fikret
Züleyha talks to the prosecutor and learns that Demir has never been to Syria. Furthermore, Fikret is under arrest because he flew into a rage against the prosecutor. In the meantime, Hakan intervenes and manages to get him released from prison. Once free, he discovers that his uncle is dead. The mystery deepens and Lütfiye and Züleyha want to find out more about Fekeli’s death.
At Villa Yaman we are preparing for the funeral wake. Among the various guests, Hakan arrives and Züleyha confesses to him that she has doubts about the cause of Fekeli’s death. In turn, Fikret cannot stand the closeness between Hakan and Züleyha. Lütfiye, however, advises him not to interfere. FikretInstead, he does his own thing. He shows up at the company, where he surprises Züleyha in the company of Hakan and is overwhelmed by jealousy. Züleyha prevents a confrontation, but then pushes him away and does not accept his apologies.
Still, A woman with a mysterious identity shows up at the Yaman house and asks to speak to Demir. They tell her that there is no more news of the man, but he doesn’t believe it. Fikret’s stay at Züleyha’s house leads one to think that a relationship is underway between the two. Lütfiye decides to leave and take her nephew with her, but Züleyha is going through a difficult time. Fikret, then, was right about it Hakan. He goes to the cemetery and, in front of Fekeli’s tomb, he confesses that he is responsible for his death.
There is also room for new affairs of the heart. Betül (Ilayda Cevik) approaches Fikret. She asks him to keep an eye on Hakan and then they spend the night together. While she dreams of orange blossoms, he immediately turns away. After that everyone wonders who Ayten is, the woman looking for Demir.
Sermin (Sibel Tascioglu) plots revenge against Saniye (Selin Yecinci), who hit her with the van causing a broken leg. Füsun (Yeliz Dogramacilar) reports to Sermin that he has noticed intimate attitudes between Betül and Fikret. However, there is someone else interested in the woman. It’s Ercan, who asks her to leave for a weekend for Ankara.
In the end, Gaffur (Bülent Polat) and Rasit (Sahin Vural) invest all their savings in purchasing some land. And while they make plans on how their lives will change, they discover that they are victims of a scam hatched by Sermin. The land, in fact, will soon be expropriated.
