Bitter earththe previews of tonight’s episode
Fikret (Furkan Palali) and Ümit Kahraman (Hande Soral) plot to destroy Demir and Zuleyha. They can’t bear to see them happy, and they harbor resentment. Fikret hates the man he discovered was his brother. Ümit hates the man she loved who left her to go back to Züleyha (Hilal Altinbilek).
Meanwhile At Villa Yaman everyone is buzzing because little Adnan’s birthday party is being organisedthe son that Züleyha had with Ylmaz (Ugur Günes) and who she is raising with Demir. Gaffur (Bülent Polat), on the other hand, wanders aimlessly around the city. He is hungry and looking for a place to sleep. Finally he stops in the Yaman family’s stable and falls asleep, overwhelmed by hunger and tiredness.
At home, however, the celebrations begin. Ümit also unexpectedly shows up, not particularly liked by Demir. In fact, he would like her to go away to avoid embarrassment and problems with Züleyha. Then it’s time for a big announcement. Demir tells the guests that Adnan’s birthday present is to name him after his real father.
Fikret sets fire to Villa Yaman, Demir shoots Fekeli
Shortly after, however, Fikret puts his plan into action. Taking advantage of the fact that family and domestic staff are all busy with the reception, he sets a fire in the stable, but does not know that Gaffur is inside. Luckily the latter wakes up in time to run away and escape death. Furthermore, he manages to save the villa from the flames, preventing them from spreading quickly.
When the Yaman learn of the fire, Demir and Züleyha have no doubts: they are certain that Fikret is responsible for the fire. And Lütfiye Durman (Hülya Darcan) is of the same opinion. Fikret’s behavior then creates tensions between Demir and Fekeli (Kerem Alisik), with whom a heated argument arises. Tensions run high and culminate in a firefight. Demir hits Fekeli right in the heart. Ümit finds out and rushes to Fikret to tell him what happened. No one knows that it’s all a setup to get Fikret to confess.
Fikret’s reaction was not long in coming. He rushes to his uncle’s house and when he sees that he is not deadbut rather enjoys excellent health, remains speechless. Furthermore, she finds him in the company of Demir, who has second thoughts: after all, he would like nothing more than to find a meeting point with Fikret. The latter, however, refuses. To accept a definitive truce he asks that Demir tarnish his father’s memory. He must publicly declare that he was not a decent man at all.
Bitter earthÜmit reveals to Sevda that she is his daughter
Then he appears before Müjgan (Melike Ipek Yalova). His wife thus discovers that he lied to her: he never went to Germany, but always remained in Cukurova, the (fictional) town where the soap is set. The troubles aren’t over, because a photo emerges showing Demi and Ümit together. Demir asks Fikret, the creator of the shot, for explanations. He therefore feels betrayed and gets angry with Ümit.
Ümit, for his part, has other things to think about. She reveals to Sevda (Nazan Kesal) that she is her daughter. Her real name is Alya and she is the little girl she abandoned 35 years earlier. The woman’s reaction is very intense. She feels ill and is taken to hospital. The doctors decide to hospitalize her and she receives a visit first from Züleyha and then also from Demir.
